DESCRIPTION:Applied Riparian Restoration: Turning Theory into Practice\nTwo-day workshop integrating traditional classroom learning with experts\, field scenarios and learning from your peers! \nWorkshop Objectives \n\nIncrease knowledge\, skills\, and confidence for successful riparian project planning\, implementation\,\nand maintenance.\nIntegrate technical modules\, field-based sessions\, and peer-to-peer learning.\nEnhance regional networking and capacity for riparian practitioners in southwestern Oregon.\n\nTarget Audience \n\nRestoration practitioners who are expected to plan\, implement\, and maintain riparian enhancement projects in agricultural or rural landscapes in the Rogue-Siskiyou ecoregion and surrounding areas.\n\nWorkshop Location \n\nJackson Soil and Water Conservation District\, 89 Alder St\, Central Point\, OR 97502.\n\nRegistration \n\n$50 registration fee includes coffee\, light breakfast\, lunch\, and transportation to field sites for both days.\nClick here to register. Registration closes on Friday\, March 1.\n\nFinancial Assistance \nA limited amount of funding is available to support participation by smaller organizations.
