SUMMARY:Seed collection at Vesper Meadow
DESCRIPTION:Midsummer is a ripe time of year to collect native plant seeds for pollinator habitat restoration\, pull invasive weeds\, and make improvements for wildlife safety. Join us from 10:30 – 2 pm! \nWe will enjoy an educational and interpretive 1-mile walk on generally flat ground\, Vesper Meadow Director Jeanine Moy will provide human and natural history. Join in good company with the community stewardship crew at Vesper Meadow – and some do a little something that is right-by-the-land! \n  \n  \nPrepare: Vesper Meadow is generally 10 degrees cooler than the Rogue Valley and sometimes windy\, wear long pants and close-toed walking shoes\, sun protection. \nDriving Directions: 16534 Dead Indian Memorial rd…which is mile 16.5 with the driveway marked by a colorful flag. Google is accurate.
