A local celebration of International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD)
Rogue Valley Bird Day is the local celebration of International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD), which celebrates one of the most important and spectacular events in the life of a migratory bird—its journey between wintering and breeding grounds. This year’s theme is, “The Importance of Stopover Habitats”. There will be guided bird walks, a live bird exhibit with Wildlife Images, Bird banding with the Klamath Bird Observatory, a bird calling contest and more. A free event for the whole family!
