Rogue Native Plant Partnership and the Jackson/Josephine County Cooperative Weed Management Area (CWMA) will be joining forces to share native & invasive plant updates, and explore opportunities to work together to combat invasive plants and get more natives on the landscape. Both RNPP and CWMA are associations of state and federal agencies, local governments, tribes, nonprofits, community organizations, and individuals that provide regular forums for those dealing with invasive weeds to share information and resources, collaborate on planning, and cooperate on management.
UPDATE: Our guest speaker will be Tanya Chapple of the Klamath Alliance for Regional Invasive Species Management and Mid Klamath Watershed Council. With experience as a restoration practitioner and as a coordinator of landscape-scale invasive species management, Tanya has learned many lessons in restoration planning and partnership-building that she can share with us!
