Join RRWC Board Member Bob Jones and Medford Water Commission Watershed Administrator Craig Harper on a 4-hour tour of the beautiful springs and waterfalls in the Upper Rogue River Basin. Explore Whiskey Springs near Mt. McLoughlin, Fourbit Creek, Willow Lake, and Big Butte Springs – all in the Medford Municipal Watershed, source of drinking water for 140,000 people in the Rogue Valley. Big Butte Springs is closed to the public, so this will be a special opportunity to see the springs and hear about the geology and history of this pristine water source. The tour will end with views of Butte Falls – the town and the waterfall (yes, there are falls in Butte Falls). We will take several short, guided hikes during the tour.
