Spencer Street Riparian Restoration Project

Logos Public Charter School invites all community members to join us in an effort to keep our Bear Creek clean! The health of Bear Creek and it’s supporting ecosystems are critical to the social and economic well-being of our communities and citizens. We ask for your support in coming out to lend a hand in cleaning up an 8 acre section of Riparian forest along Bear Creek near downtown Medford. The area we are addressing has consistently suffered from abuse and misuse due to illegal camping and other activities. Logos Charter School has been committed to working with community partners in an effort to plant native vegetation, create and maintain a contiguous set of walking trails and removing trash. Unfortunately, the efforts continue to fall short and we see consistent damage to plantings, trails, signage and the accumulation of wastes.

Please come out and support our students and community in taking back our valuable riparian resource, Bear Creek! Pre-register to participate with SOLVE.

Tools, Drinks, Snacks and much Gratitude will be provided! Please wear work boots or appropriate footwear, long sleeve shirts or jacket, and please bring work gloves if you have them.
