Milkweed Pod Collection

The Rogue Native Plant Partnership and their partners at the US Fish and Wildlife Service have several beds of milkweed plants at the J. Herbert Stone Nursery in Central Point. The pods of this plant need to be hand-collected and we’re looking for a few extra hands. The seed we collect will be used to support a new program to help private landowners create pollinator habitat on their properties.
