Native Plants! Which, Why and How to Use Them

December 5, 2019 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

$15

Native plants support pollinators and wildlife, and they require fewer resources to thrive. Learn why, how, when, and where to plant and replant with native species, including wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees. We will focus on restoration of understory plant communities and how native species help to reduce noxious weed infestations and wildfire risks. The discussion will include sources for locally grown native-plant materials and information about current efforts to increase their regional supply.
